We kept asking the same question.
As parents of 7 boys, after spending more than 20 years in the chaos, joy, and reality of raising young children, we kept asking ourselves — why are there so few places in the U.S. where parents can simply walk with the kids, grab a good coffee, meet other mums after school drop-off, or unwind with a glass of wine or beer while the children safely play on a Friday evening?
"A space designed just as much for parents as it is for children."
We dreamed of creating a warm, welcoming space with exactly that in mind. Originally, that dream was going to become a brick-and-mortar café and play space called The Play Yard. But when finding the right location proved difficult, we realised something even more magical.
Why not bring The Play Yard directly to families? That's how The Play Bus was born — a mobile play café and community experience designed to bring families together through coffee, play, connection, and community.

While a permanent location may still come in the future, for now, we're incredibly excited to bring The Play Bus directly to local neighborhoods, events, schools, churches, and communities.
We're creating spaces where both kids and parents can truly relax, connect, and enjoy the moment together, one stop at a time.
